Thank You!

Thank you so much for your help and for giving us so much of your time! My mother laughed when I told her that Echo barks b/c I talk so much. She thought that sounded about right :).

And sorry for my own tears. Aside from it really smarting, it always feel very humiliating when he bites. That’s a breakthough. See? If only you took insurance and were ineffectual, you’d be just like a shrink! So thanks for your help in boosting my own confidence!

Ok, again thank you, thank you.

You Were Great!

Hi Joy, Thanks again for coming to the rescue! You were great! We are all excited about the changes we are going to work on and feel very hopeful that we will have better , happier dogs. I will call or email again after the holidays to update you on how we are doing. Happy Holidays!? Cindy, Bernie, Mike, Nick, Lisa, Pebbles, Cinder and little Sebastion.

Thank U Thank U!

So the whistle/cheese bit is working AMAZINGLY WELL!!! I went over to  Latrobe, left the leash attached to her collar, she played with Rigby… there were 3 separate occasions where another dog would be walking by on leash and Murray would naturally start running over to say hello, I would blow the whistle as she got close to the other dog, and all 3 times she IMMEDIATELY turned around and came running to me, and I mean running to me with excitement!!! There was one or two other occasions of distraction but not dog related where I blew  the whistle and again she reacted perfectly. I am now very excited and very motivated to continue this training. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

I’ll certainly keep you posted on our hopeful progress. And of course I appreciate your willingness to lend a helping hand with the ladies, regardless of the outcome. It was very, very nice to meet you. Hopefully our paths with cross again sooner than later.

Dog Whisperer

Hi Joy. Just wanted to tell you Bean has been a dream. You are the real dog whisperer. I’m def. going to have Mom call you so Rocky can stop jumping ( in anticipation of Lily spending so much time at their house.)

Huge Difference

Hi Joy-

I am writing to thank you for all your help with Dodger.

Our first couple of months with our pup were very challenging until you helped us straighten things out. Dodger is no longer biting us or trying to dominate anyone in the family. We were even able to have a peacful dinner last night.

He is such a good puppy now and we are practicing the skills you’ve taught us everyday. We are enjoying our little puppy and having so much fun with him.

Thanks again for all your help — it has made a HUGE difference in our pup and our family.

I will definately be calling on you again as issues come up.

Thanks For Your Help

I just wanted to give you an update and Thank you for your help with Haley and Dozer.  Since you came here there has been virtually no fights!!! and usually if there is it is very minor and is usually if they have been playing (yes playing can you believe it!!) and she has had enough and he wont stop and then haley will let him know its been enough.  They play every day for hours!! in fact in the morning when we go to get him out of the crate Haley rushes down to the basement and waits for Dozer to get out of the crate.

There was a big test this weekend at my moms for the holidays there were two other dogs and haley and dozer and haley did great!!! all the dogs were pacing and running around the house and Haley was calm and laid down!!! From the time you came it really only took about a week to a week and a half to see drastic improvement and now Haley is even a little protective of Dozer.  Well I know it was a long email but I just wanted to thank you for your help they are truly a pack now!! and a healthy one. Dozer seems completly comfortable around haley and in our home.

Also it appears Haley has lost a lot of weight with all the playing which is great!! She seems to be at a healthier weight now.   I also gave your name to Jennifer from boxer rescue in case she has anyone in the maryland area that could use help as we did.

Great Advice

We just wanted to say thank you for helping us with our springer, Nutmeg. We had a session with you on February 28 and you recommended that we enroll her in day care and take her to the dog park so she could interact with other dogs and build her confidence. We wanted to let you know that we’re taking her 2x a week to Charm City and 2-3x a month to Hannah Moor. We have definately noticed a difference in Nutmeg’s confidence and it has translated to her performance at agility and obedience trials. In fact, she qualified last week with a clean run. And she qualified in obedience a few weeks ago.

We just wanted to let you know what a big difference your advice made. Also, we’re getting our new puppy (another springer) on June 6 so we may be in touch to schedule another session.
